Into The Blue

“INTO THE BLUE”, Peggy Ann Turner’s latest solo exhibition, a series of landscape paintings evoking the colour, light, architecture and nature found on the Greek Aegean Islands.

“Magic happens when we experience a feeling that there is more than just the physical world we inhabit. Each mixed media collage painting is focused on my emotional response captured while travelling from island to island.”

Her visual storytelling is conveyed through bold colour contrasts, textural surfaces and strong compositions, letting the eyes dance in and out of discovered places.

The title and haiku poetry that accompany each artwork, add another layer of meaning while still allowing the viewer room to have their own interpretation.
